Carl Mitchell & Son started in 1974 as a backyard hobby for Carl & Joe Mitchell. This joint venture provided a way for father and son to spend time together doing something they both loved. As time went on they found that there was a need for a tractor salvage and service facility in this region. Carl Mitchell and Son was born in Central City, KY. Quickly a backyard passion turned into a booming business. In recent years Carl Mitchell and Son have expanded their location of business to three other locations as the need for salvage tractors and equipment have grown.
